Can I hire Rhodes for an ADU, addition or custom home?
Yes. Our general contracting services include custom homes, ADUs, home additions and interior and exterior renovations. You work directly with Rick and JT to establish the design direction, materials and construction scope.
What should I send for an initial estimate?
Send your project address, a description of the work, approximate dimensions, existing plans if available, budget and preferred timing. We start with that information and discuss the site review needed before preparing a detailed scope and estimate.
What affects the budget and start date?
Size, finishes, demolition, existing conditions, access, utility work and structural requirements all affect the budget. The schedule also depends on design decisions, required approvals, material availability and our construction calendar. We discuss these factors before setting expectations.
How are plans, engineering and permits handled?
We identify the design, engineering and approval work needed for the proposed project during planning. Responsibility for plans, permit submissions, engineering and related fees is defined in the written scope before work begins.
Can I see the design before construction?
We offer free 3D renderings after discussing the project, property and budget. Renderings help you compare the layout and materials; any required construction drawings and engineering are addressed separately in the project scope.
